Project Management

127 Consultancies Limited have project managed large civil engineering projects and multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and Australia from feasibility through to implementation.

We project manage: resources, finances, quality control, schedules and contracts ( including the NEC3 and NEC4 Contract).

We provide highly qualified Chartered Engineers who have proven themselves in the industry. We strive for excellence so that projects can be completed on-time and within budget.

The list of projects our staff have managed include:

  • 26A TNRP Leichardt Highway, QLD, Australia ($67m) – Ian Gittens was in charge of the preliminary and detailed design of the Transport Network Reconstruction Program for route 26A in Queensland. The purpose of the scheme was to restore the road infrastructure that was damaged during several major natural disasters. Ian Gittens managed a team of 23 Engineers working on the project.
  • Philip Street Roundabout, Gladstone, QLD, Australia ($23m) – Upgrade from a roundabout to a traffic signal-controlled intersection. This involved project managing the Preliminary and Detailed Design sections of the scheme and overseeing the PUP diversions and managing the multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Client Project Manager in charge of Bruce Street Bridges and Newcombe Drive Highway Improvement Scheme. This was a £5m project involving changing 4 mini-roundabouts into a traffic signal-controlled intersection. The Great Western Way is one of the busiest roads in Swindon with 20,000 vehicles per day. The new scheme helped reduce flooding and improve capacity at the intersection.
